Currently, all beats are being sold on a non-exclusive basis.
Non-Exclusive Rights Legal Information:
When you, the BUYER, purchase an instrumental from me, the SELLER, you are given a downloadable file, containing your PURCHASED PRODUCT, the instrumental itself.
Along with your beat purchase, you are receiving a limited, non-exclusive license. Under this non-exclusive license, you are allowed a maximum of 2,000 profitable distributions of the beat. This may include, but is not limited to: Audio CD's packaged for means of sale, radio distribution, record label press packages, etc.
This non-exclusive license is effective for two years after the date on which you purchased it.
For hip-hop instrumentals, you are required to add original lyrics or musical elements to the beat before redistribution. To do otherwise would be a violation of your agreement, as well as the creator's intellectual material.
Finally, you are required to give the original artist, Begotten Enterprise, some form of written or verbal credit on your finished product.
Music For Cinema Legal Information:
When you, the BUYER, purchase a music-for-cinema track from me, the SELLER, you are given a downloadable file, containing your PURCHASED PRODUCT, the music track itself.
For music made for cinema, you are required to place the music bed behind your original filmed material before redistribution. This material must be your intellectual property.
Additionally, credit must be given to the original artist, Begotten Enterprise.
Failure to meet these guidelines puts you at risk of legal action. So come on, folks! It isn't a lot to ask! Just hook me up with that credit and you're good to go! Let's do this thing!
